Distribution switches forward data packets from multiple access switches to core layer networks. Typically, a distribution switch needs full mesh connectivity and intelligent routing and switching between segmented VLANs. Environmental Adaptability with IKS-6000A Series

The 1U rackmount IKS-6000A switch offers up to 24 Gigabit ports and is designed to meet the rigorous demands of mission critical applications, including traffic control systems (NEMA TS2), networks along railway tracks (EN 50121-4), and maritime applications (DNV/GL and other maritime certifications). IKS-6728A-8PoE Power over Ethernet switches facilitate hard-to-wire applications with a total of 120 watts of stable and cost-effective electricity over an Ethernet cable for PoE powered devices (PDs).
